Today I hung out with Alyce and Abdul. I met them in speaking class and Abdul had mentioned that he had a rough time meeting with conversation partners and I had too, so I asked him after class if he wanted to hang out and Alyce came over and said she wanted to as well. I had to run one errand and asked if they wanted to go to Best Buy and they said sure. Alyce also mentioned that she wanted to go to the mall and it's right near Best Buy so I said OK.

I met Abdul first at CIES and we got a chance to talk so we introduced ourselves a little and I asked him about where he's from and he told me about Kuwait. He showed me some pictures and told me a few stories. We were waiting for Alyce and when she showed up we left. I got to ask Alyce about Brazil and she told me she was from Campo Grande. We all talked about Tallahassee and compared it to their hometown's. It was a good discussion. We walked around Best Buy, I got what I needed to get and we headed over to the mall. I asked them about their travels and what other countries they had been to. Abdul said he was on a international Judo team and has been all over the world. Alyce has only been to one or two other countries. We shared about ourselves, what we like to do in our spare time, what music we like. I got a lot out of the experience and I'm looking forward to meeting more conversation partners.
