Harrison CP#3

On Thursday, October 2, I met with Jihun for wings and football at Buffalo Wild Wings. Again, his friend Jack joined us. Both were very excited to do something away from campus for once. They thought I was joking when I said Buffalo Wild Wings had hundreds of TVs, so they were kind of shocked when we first walked in and realized I wasn't lying.

We sat down and I explained the different types of wings and sauces. Jihun wanted a beer and was trying to remember a beer that someone had told him about. He couldn't remember the name but saw the logo on the menu: PBR. I laughed out loud. Don't get me wrong, I love a good, cold PBR, but I'd really like to meet whoever built up the stuff and insisted that Jihun had to try it. Instead, we got two Yuenglings. Admittedly, that's not the best beer in the world, but it's my favorite cheap beer and luckily Jihun liked it well enough.

As we ate, we watched the Packers-Vikings game on the many TVs and I explained the game to them. It was a lot of fun because the Packers are my favorite NFL team. When we finished our meal, Jihun and Jack both said that was the best food they had eaten since they'd been in America. I thought they were joking, but no, they were dead serious. They said the only restaurant they'd been to was the Chili's on campus. I realized I had my work cut out for me.

Luckily, if Buffalo Wild Wings is the best food they've had in America, it will be easy to introduce them to even better food. I guess I know what we are doing for the rest of our meetings now!
