I met with Sanad on campus during his break from CIES. He was was with his roommate and his Korean friend who I can not remember his name. Logan was also there, we spoke about how the food is so different in the United States from where they are from. They told us about how tired they were of eating the same food every day here. They explained how all the foods they tried here was such low quality. Understandably so, they live in the college area that only serves fast food and they do not have a vehicle to go outside of the college area to get good food.
All three of them got late to class because they ate at Chili's and the service took so long they already missed half of their class, so they skiped their next class after break. Sanads roommate was telling me how he already passed the TOFL but he was worried about getting into his dream school USC, to study film. I had a great time talking with all of them it was a fun meeting with my conversation partner and his friends.
