I met with Sanad during his break from CIES. We discussed how I was going to observe Mr. Valentines class. He was curious about the class I was taking and what it requires. I told him that I was moving to Korea to teach English, and one of the requirements for that was to take this TEFL class. I told him that the TEFL classed was composed of 16 tutoring sessions 5 meetings with conversation partner and a Cultural lesson that I would teach. I told him of the lesson I was planning on teaching however he did not seem too interested in attending. I believe that being the fact that it is against his religion to drink alcohol. He told me earlier how in Kuwait alcohol is prohibited, along with all of it's neighboring countries, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Iran. The next class started for Sanad but he had to run before we could finish talking about why and when I was going to teach English. I had a great conversation with Sanad that day.
