Harrison TP#10

Wednesday, October 8

As usual, I met Youngseo and her family at the Collins public library. We began again by reviewing her homework first. There wasn't a whole lot of homework this time, just the usual sight word and letter writing practice.

After going over the homework, we started to read through some exercises in a phonics booklet I brought with me. After a few minutes, I could see that Youngseo was getting bored and I was losing her attention so I decided to change it up. I got out my laptop and started to search for some educational games on the internet. After trying a few different ones, we settled on a great little matching memory game. The object of the game was to match a card with a letter with another card with a picture of a word that begin with that letter on it. Youngseo enjoyed this game a lot and she was very good at it as well.
